Star Freight System, Inc. started as a port agency serving the import and
export of US Government household goods shipments of employees relocating
around the world to and from the United States. Begun in 1987, Ken Garrison,
President and CEO, has steadily grown Tri Star into a full service
transportation management organization. Headquartered in Houston, Tri Star
has expanded with branch operations in the ports of Baltimore,
MD; Charleston, SC ; Savannah,
GA ; and Jacksonville, FL.
Operating a fleet of 202 owner-operators and 335,000 square feet of
warehousing, Tri Star has grown to serve clients in all 48 states moving
freight of all kinds. As an Airfreight Forwarder and Non-Vessel Operating
Common Carrier, the company has worldwide reach with a tremendous network of
agents in virtually every country.
Garrison has built his company to operate with the highest levels of
integrity. “Our product is Service,” said Garrison, “Tri Star’s service does
not end with the sale, in fact it is just the beginning. Quality performance
is the finished product. We bring quality service to the market.”
Tri Star Freight System has grown steadily in the last 18 years through a
tremendous amount of hard work and dedication by their employees, many of
whom have been with the company since its inception. Their mission is to
