Norrenberns Truck Service, known as "NOTS", was purchased by the Tom Kirchner family in 1981. The company was originally founded in 1925 by the Norrenberns brothers of rural Albers, IL, primarily to serve local livestock farmers delivering cattle to the stockyards. Since the purchase of the company in 1981, NOTS has grown from one straight truck to one of the most successful LTL pickup and delivery carriers with service to 35 states.

Through consistent and controlled expansion, NOTS now owns and operates multiple warehouse and distribution centers within the Midwest. Directly serving a large majority of the country, NOTS provides services such as inventory control and order fulfillment, as well as freight logistics, freight management and freight audit and payment services.

Family owned and operated means strong family values and a commitment to succeed. By standing behind our word, promises are not broken and our customers are not let down. "Doing whatever it takes" was second nature to Tom Kirchner when he purchased the company, and that attitude extends through his family and throughout the NOTS organization today.
