Davis Cartage Co., in business since 1941, offers flexible warehousing solutions with facilities located throughout Central & Southwest Michigan. Our multi- lient public distribution centers can be contracted on a short-term or long-term basis. We understand your fluctuating space requirements and we would welcome the opportunity to design a solution to meet your specific needs. Our facilities combined with our asset based transportation division will provide you with quick and reliable access to your customers in the Midwest & Canada.
Transportation:
Our transportation division offers same day and next day delivery within Michigan and the Great Lakes region, including Canada. We are fully licensed and certified for cross-border shipments and our customer support team can assist you in getting your shipments to and from Canada. Our equipment includes approximately 75 trucks and 275 trailers. This includes 53x102 dry vans, 53’ high cube trailers, curtain sides, and flatbeds.
Warehousing:
Davis Cartage Co.’s warehouse division operates five facilities in Mid-Michigan and Southwest Michigan. From just-in-time automotive support programs to assisting our region’s agricultural industry, our seasoned team members have experience working with many of Michigan’s diverse manufacturers and distributors. Our food grade warehouse facilities provide safe and affordable solutions to meet your needs in Michigan. Our Owosso & Corunna facilities are centrally located in Mid-Michigan to provide quick access to the Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Flint markets. With close proximity to Canada and located off the NAFTA Highway (I-69), our facilities provide an ideal location for consolidating and distributing your Canadian trans-border shipments. Our Niles facility, located in Southwest Michigan, provides a great distribution location for reaching many Midwest markets. This facility can also provide transload services with rail access to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
