What is DACA?

We are an association of more than thirty privately owned and operated transportation and warehousing companies situated in most major cities throughout North America. Established more than twenty-three years ago, DACA is well-known to U.S. industry as an effective distribution network that can provide a wide array of services for a multitude of shipper needs. The DACA Directory has become a handy reference source for many American corporations, large and small, who seek the type of services and personalized attention which our members can provide.

What can DACA do for my company?

In addition to providing annual directories to our extensive list of transportation decision makers, we also publish a magazine that regularly reaches the desks of thousands of buyers of distribution services.

This extensive direct mail marketing is supplemented by DACA attendance at most major transportation events and expositions. By pooling the resources of our member companies, DACA provides an affordable way for its individual members to effectively achieve national account exposure. As the decision making in distribution gravitates to corporate headquarters, the advertising and networking efforts of our association become even more important.

Possibly the greatest benefit of DACA membership is the internal networking which occurs between the members of the association. This inexhaustible reservoir of information is available to each and every active member. This networking is nurtured by our internal newsletter (DACA in Action) and by an annual two day meeting held in conjunction with NITL’s (National Industrial Transportation League’s) annual convention.
